Why does the Maintenance Formula work without fasting?
The ingredients in the Maintenance Formula have been adjusted to benefit from the nitric oxide levels produced by the Loading Formula during Phase I. Once the Loading Phase is completed successfully, Nitric Oxide levels in the body are sufficient to promote full absorption of the Maintenance solution, in spite of food in the stomach.
Can I skip Phase 1 – Loading since Phase 2 is easier to administer?
We don’t recommend this approach. Our success is based on how quickly you see results. If you skip the Loading phase, it may take months to see comparable results, potentially putting your horse at risk of serious injury.
Is there an easy way to fast my horse?
Yes! In fact there are several options that our customers have used with success: • Put your horse in a pen or tie him where there is no food, including scraps, for one hour, then dose him. Put him back in the pen or tie him again for one hour. Many clients use the first hour to groom the horse, and then work them during the second hour. • If he does not eat at night or is in a feed free stall, dose him first thing in the morning, wait one hour and then feed breakfast. • At night put him in a feed free stall, wait an hour, dose him, wait another hour and feed him dinner.
How soon will I see results?
You will be amazed at how fast your horse starts to heal! Ulcers: you will start to see a different horse in 2-3 days; Colic: they are usually eating again within an hour; Abscess: blow out and heal without lameness unbelievably quickly; most horses are walking soundly within hours. Laminitis: you can see the pain melt away! These Nitric Oxide products will give your horse the relief and healing power it needs right away.
Are Giddy Up Go products useful for life threatening situations?
Yes! If the condition is life threatening, like Laminitis, single or double dose with NitrOxide every 4 hours (Phase I – Loading Formula), until the horse can relax and be comfortable, then follow the protocols above.
